Happy Hour

 

In April Lightning Strikes member Mike Bencivenga's film, HAPPY HOUR, had it's world premiere at the Sonoma County Film Festival in Northern California. The film was co-written and directed by Mike and stars Anthony Lapaglia, Eric Stoltz and Robert Vaughn along with fellow Lightning Strikes member Michelle Maryk in a featured role. "HAPPY HOUR" was given an honorary mention at the Sonoma Festival and played to packed houses and was an audience favorite. It continues gaining momentum playing at festivals while the Producers seek the proper distribution for this unique, heartbreaking, funny story of struggling writers and the people that love them.

We're proud to introduce you to one of our new Board of Directors members, Joseph Moran. On top of being a brilliant filmmaker and headshot photographer, he's an all-around great guy and we're lucky to have him. Lightning Strikes is working with him to produce over 20 short films based on terrible jokes that have been passed around online. Hilarious and tacky doesn't even begin to cover it!

13TH CHILD OPENED OCTOBER 25th, 2002 featuring many members of Lightning Strikes, including Michelle Maryk in the lead along with Cliff Robertson, Robert Guillaume, Christopher Atkins and Gano Grills-finally landed in over 100 theatres in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
