Julie Whitney

Julie Whitney, a Native of Kansas, attended Cloud County College on a track and theatre scholarship while working at the local Pizza Hut. From there it seemed a natural transition into the dinner theatre world along with a stint as an apprentice in the Topeka Ballet Company and an affiliation with Washburn University's dance company. A new member to Lightning Strikes Julie is happy to be making her company debut in The Viy. Other New York Stage Productions include: Dashboard Theatre (Westbank), Two Centuries (Theatre for the New City), Reckonings (Beckman Theatre), Broomstick (Sargent Theatre) and Ashes (Courtyard theatre). Regional and Tiur Credits include: Muppet babies Live (Baby Rowlf in National Tour), Company, Ring 'Round the Moon, Sweet Charity (Washburn Summer Stock), Romantic Comedy, Dracula (Showcase Dinner Theatre), Two by Two, a Funny Thing Happened... (Civic Dinner Theatre). She can also be seen in John Sayles' film Eight Men Out.
