Rochelle Stempel

Currently, Rochelle is playing her most difficult yet rewarding role todate, "Mom" to Annie. She just appeared along with a large contingent of Lightning Strikes members in the recently released film The 13th Child: Legend of the Jersey Devil. Recent stage appearances include "Sylvia" in Lightning Strikes' The Playboy Stories, and "Blanche" in Christopher Durang's Desire, Desire, Desire (The Midtown International Theatre Festival). A member of Lightning Strikes since 1994, Rochelle has been in numerous Company productions. Some favorite roles with Lightning Strikes include: "Daisy Diana Dorothea Devore" in The Adding Machine, "Maria" in Twelfth Night, "The Woman" in Laughing Wild, "Mueller" in the award winning God's Country, and "Dabby" in the award-winning Our Country's Good. Other favorites: "Mary Anne Rowan" in The Kentucky Cycle (Roundabout Ensemble) and "Gorgeous Teitelbaum" in The Sisters Rosensweig (Roundabout Ensemble).
