Neerja Sharma

Neerja Sharma is a NJ native who was raised on a steady dose of rock and roll. She studied Electrical Engineering at the urging of her parents but always knew she would be a performer. It was only a matter of time. She did her duty as an Indian daughter and worked for a prestigious technology company until a layoff with a great severance package sent her straight into acting class. She never looked back and has found continued success and happiness beyond her imagination. She has enjoyed many parts in film, television, and theater. She has also performed stand-up comedy based on her life growing up with her medical, strict Indian family, and as an engineer dreaming of a life in front of the camera. Neerja's film credits include Cosmopolitan (Nisha Ganatra Dir.) and The Accident. TV credits include Law and Order
SVU and 100 Centre Street. Theater credits include HAZMAT (Sketch Comedy in which Neerja was a founding member, director and writer), and Women in Charge (Philadelphia Fringe Festival).
