Mike Bencivenga
Mike Bencivenga attended New York University as a film and theater major and has been dividing his time between the two ever since. On stage he has directed and occasionally acted in one acts, full length plays and tons of sketch comedy all over the city. He has also performed improv comedy with a variety of groups, most notably as a member of "The Chainsaw Boys". In 1993 he wrote, produced and directed his first feature film, Losers in Love, and recently co-wrote and directed his second; Happy Hour starring Anthony LaPaglia and Eric Stoltz. Mike has worked in the past with Lightning Strikes as a writer on Playboy Stories and as the director and one of the writers of Tannenbaum Tales. Mike was very proud to have the company produce his first full length play, Single Bullet Theory in April of 2002.
